报告题目:Advanced Carbon-based Materials for Metal Ion Processing and Single-atom Catalysts in Energy Conversion

报告摘要:This talk discusses the innovative applications of advanced carbon-based materials in metal ion processing and energy conversion. We first explore the role of carbon-based materials, such as magnetic graphene oxide (M-GO), in ion capture, desorption, and detection. These materials enable efficient removal and recovery of metal ions, including radioactive and heavy metals, offering advantages in environmental remediation and resource recovery. Additionally, carbon-based ion detection technologies provide real-time, accurate monitoring of metal ion concentrations and valence states. The talk then focuses on the use of carbon-based materials integrated with metals as single-atom catalysts (SACs) for energy conversion. By embedding metal atoms into carbon matrices, we develop highly efficient catalysts for key reactions like nitrogen reduction (NRR), hydrogen evolution (HER), and carbon monoxide reduction (CORR). Through first-principles calculations and machine learning, we identify the structure-performance relationships of these catalysts, providing insights for optimizing and designing high-performance materials for sustainable energy conversion.


报告人简介:徐晶,浙江农林大学光机电工程学院教授。2015年获得吉林大学博士学位(导师:丁益宏教授),2015至2018年在美国加州大学欧文分校从事博士后研究(导师:Benny Gerber)。2018年10月加入浙江农林大学,成为第一批浙江省高校高水平创新团队核心成员(碳基纳米材料物化特性及应用研究团队)。2020年入选浙江农林大学“青年英才”优秀人才。主要从事新型低维碳材料的理论设计及其在能源转化领域的潜在应用研究。迄今为止,已在Nature Communications,Applied Catalysis B:Environment and Energy,Journal of Colloid and Interface Science,Carbon和ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces等权威期刊上发表SCI论文50余篇。目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目一项,浙江省自然科学基金探索项目一项。
